Advaita:
Means not two, declaring the stunning vision that all life is one majestic whole, one divinity, one Absolute. These are the liberating spiritual teachings of Vedanta, influential for thousands of years, conveyed in modern language, for modern people. Realising this vision is wondrous and profoundly fulfilling.

Derek Thorne:
Is a renowned Advaita Vedanta teacher. Deeply established in the Vedanta vision and with a lifetime of experience, he leads the Vedantarama spiritual community and is an inspiring and influential speaker.

During the session:
Derek will communicate Advaita Vedanta from his own originality which he calls Vedanta+. This is accessible spirituality, grounded in the tradition but interpreted for modern people living an engaged life in a perplexing world. The morning will include discourse, some chanting from the Upanishads, meditation and a question and answer session.
